Novice tailors can learn the basics of upcycling their wardrobe with a three-hour beginners sewing course (usually £60) or a six-hour beginners dressmaking course (£120). The sewing sessions will cover all the functions of a sewing machine as well as hemming, button holes and zips. In the dressmaking class, guests will learn how to make a made to measure tunic dress from vintage or new fabric with techniques such as customising, hemming, tailoring and darts.
