The head chef of VegBar, Jhenn skivolocki, went vegan in 2001. After realising that she wanted and needed to cook, she enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Awakening. Jhenn developed a passion for Asian cuisine and searched for culinary inspirations while living in Japan. She set up a vegan blog, then a vegan artisan chocolate company, and finally the Vegan Ronin Underground Supper Club in London. She runs VegBar together with David Beer, who uses the venue to organise punk rock concerts.
